National Institute of Design (NID) is internationally acclaimed as one of the finest educational and research institutions for Industrial, Communication, Textile and IT Integrated (Experiential) Design. It is a statutory institute under the DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. It has been recognised as an ‘Institution of National Importance’ by the Act of Parliament, by virtue of the National Institute of Design Act 2014. It is also recognised by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Government of India as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation.

• Educational Qualification:
• Applications for academic year 2023–234 are open to candidates who have passed or will appear for higher secondary (10+2) qualifying examinations in the academic year 2022–23 in any stream (Science, Arts, Commerce, Humanities etc.) from any recognized board of education such as CBSE, IB, ICSE or equivalent.

CBSE Heritage India Quiz – 2022

The key details regarding the CBSE Heritage India Quiz 2022-23 are as follows
Online Registration
The registration will be done through online portal available at the CBSE official website i.e. http://www.cbse.nic.in and http://www.cbseacademic.nic.in . Schools will login the registration window by using the school affiliation no. and password allocated by the board, used for LOC registration.

Stage 1: Online Test: The date of Online Test will be announced through notification on website and e-mail
sent to the registered email id of the schools.
1.1 The quiz competition will be conducted on a specified date and time in November, 2022. It will be of 40minutes duration comprising60 Multiple Choice questions. Each school will be represented by a team of three students who may be selected Internally by the school from classes IX-XII. The quiz will have 25%
of questions from India’s Freedom Movement and the rest from Indian history & Heritage.

UCEED 2023 : Admissions to the Bachelor of Design (BDes) programmes

Admissions to the Bachelor of Design (BDes) programmes at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad and IIITDM Jabalpur are done through the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED). Students who have passed Class XII (or equivalent) in 2022, or appearing in 2023, in ANY STREAM (Science, Commerce, or Arts & Humanities) are eligible to appear for UCEED 2023
