CBSE Expression Series on Shivaram Hari Rajguru, Major Dhyan Chand and Govind Vinayak Karandikar

Central Board of Secondary Education proposes ‘CBSE Expression Series’ on Shivaram Hari Rajguru(born-24th August), Major Dhyan Chand (born on 29th August) and Govind Vinayak Karandikar( born 23rd August). The details of this ‘Expression Series’ are as follow

To be held on 26th -27th August, 2015

Participation is voluntary.

  • Students may submit their entries from schools as well as home.
  1. The three categories of participation are: a) Classes I to V, b)Classes VI to VIII , c)Classes IX to XII
  2. v. Students may submit their entries as Essay/ Poem/ Drawin
  3. The links and Mobile App for submission of entry shall remain activated from 9.00 AM to 5.30 PM both days on 26th -27th August, 2015.The link will be available on

XI Painting Competition on Energy Conservation 2015

XI Painting Competition on Energy Conservation 2015 – Organised by Ministry of Power and Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Government of India

The Ministry of Power in association with Bureau of Energy Efficiency is undertaking the National Awareness Campaign 2015 involving children to enable them to inculcate the habit of energy conservation. This aims at sensitizing the children towards issues of energy conservation. One of the main activities of the campaign is a Painting Competition for school students.

Eligibility: Students of 4 th , 5 th & 6th standard students under Category ‘A’ and for 7 th, 8th & 9 th standard students under Category ‘B’ are eligible to participate in the competition.

Aavishkar Quiz Series-2015

Theme: Water and Soils

Target Group: The children in the schools affiliated to Central Board of Secondary education in the following categories. · Primary : I- V · Middle : VI- VIII · Secondary : IX –XII Eligibility: Any bonafide student of a school affiliated to CBSE studying in standard I to standard XII can participate in the competition in the respective categories. Type of Quiz : Face to Face Competition in Schools followed by selection of best talents by CBSE through an online quiz.


Schools shall be able to register only upto 5-00 p.m on 20th August 2015
