Central Board of Secondary Education proposes ‘CBSE Expression Series’ on Shivaram Hari Rajguru(born-24th August), Major Dhyan Chand (born on 29th August) and Govind Vinayak Karandikar( born 23rd August). The details of this ‘Expression Series’ are as follow
To be held on 26th -27th August, 2015
Participation is voluntary.
- Students may submit their entries from schools as well as home.
- The three categories of participation are: a) Classes I to V, b)Classes VI to VIII , c)Classes IX to XII
- v. Students may submit their entries as Essay/ Poem/ Drawin
- The links and Mobile App for submission of entry shall remain activated from 9.00 AM to 5.30 PM both days on 26th -27th August, 2015.The link will be available on www.cbseacademic.in

The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Kerala is organising the State-level National Talent Search Examination for the students of Class X on 08 November, 2015.
Eligibility: Only those pupils who are studying in Class X during this academic year (2015 – 16) in any Government/Aided/Recognised schools/Kendriya Vidyalaya/ Navodaya Vidyalaya in Kerala are eligible to apply for the State-level NTS Examination.
Pupils who have secured not less than 55% for all non-language subjects in the qualifying examination of class IX of 2014-15 will be admitted for the examination.

XI Painting Competition on Energy Conservation 2015 – Organised by Ministry of Power and Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Government of India
The Ministry of Power in association with Bureau of Energy Efficiency is undertaking the National Awareness Campaign 2015 involving children to enable them to inculcate the habit of energy conservation. This aims at sensitizing the children towards issues of energy conservation. One of the main activities of the campaign is a Painting Competition for school students.
Eligibility: Students of 4 th , 5 th & 6th standard students under Category ‘A’ and for 7 th, 8th & 9 th standard students under Category ‘B’ are eligible to participate in the competition.
