SELECTION PROCESS
NRTI UG and PG Entrance Tests (for aptitude) will be administered on September 4, 2021 at multiple locations across the country. Revised date(s) of the tests will be announced soon
2. Selection to BBA, BSc programmes will be based on score in NRTI UG Entrance Test
3. Selection to B.Tech. programmes will be based on JEE Mains 2021 scores.
4. Applicants for the MSc programmes shortlisted on the basis of NRTI PG Entrance Test, will be required to appear for a subject test and interview; admission will be offered based on overall results.
5. Applicants to the MBA programmes who have valid CAT (2020), XAT (2021) or MAT (later than May 2020) scores may be exempted from PG entrance Test. Applicants shortlisted on the basis of their score in NRTI PG Entrance Test or CAT/XAT/MAT as above will be required to appear for personal interview; admission will be offered based on overall results.
6. Applicants for the PG Diploma programmes shortlisted on the basis of PG entrance test, will be required to appear for an interview; admission will be offered based on the overall results.

Admission to its Integrated Bachelor’s-Master’s Program in Science and Master’s/Integrated Master’s-Ph.D. Program in Science – 2021 and Ph.D. Program in Autumn Semester of 2021
IACS is conducting a de novo five-year Integrated Bachelor’s and Master’s Program in Science for highly motivated students who have passed (10+2) level Examination in science stream. The objective of this program is to provide highquality education, research, and training in science. Through this special program, undergraduate teaching is integrated with modern research in all major Schools of the Institute. The first three semesters of the program will comprise foundational courses in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science and Biological Sciences. From the fourth semester onwards, the students will choose one discipline (from Physics, Chemistry, Biological Science, Mathematics and Computer Science) as majors, subject to fulfilling eligibility criteria and availability of seats in the respective Schools. From seventh semester the students will be directly exposed to research. Applications are invited from bright and motivated Indian nationals for admission to the Integrated Bachelor’s and Master’s Program in Science-2021 likely to begin from September 1, 2021. The applicants who are due to complete their 10+2 level Board Examinations are eligible to appear in a UG Pre-Interview Screening Test (UPST). UPST-2021 will be conducted in a fully computer-based test mode tentatively on July 20, 2021 in various cities across India based on multiple choice questions in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and one out of Computer Science and Biological Science. The shortlisted candidates will be called for interview, out of which a maximum of fifty (50) candidates will be selected for the Program as will be declared in IACS website. The selection will be based on the performance in UPST followed by interview, and subject to obtaining 60% marks (reservation criteria will apply as per rules) in the qualifying board (10+2) examination. Admitted students entering into the fourth year may be eligible to receive monthly stipend, following the institute norms. Admission under the reserved categories, including EWS will be as per rule.
The Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is an on-going National Program of Fellowship in Basic Sciences, initiated and funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, to attract exceptionally highly motivated students for pursuing basic science courses and research career in science.
Eligibility for Stream SA: Due to prevailing COVID-19 situation, as one-time measure, students who have passed X Standard Board Examination and eligible to enroll in XI Standard (Science Subjects) during the academic year 2021-22, are eligible to appear for the aptitude test.
•Eligibility for Stream SX: Students enrolled in XII Standard (Science Subjects) during the academic year 2021–22 and aspiring to join undergraduate program in Basic Sciences (B.Sc./B.S./B. Stat./B. Math./ Int. M.Sc./ Int. M.S.) during the academic year 2022–23.
•Eligibility for Stream SB: Due to prevailing COVID-19 situation, as one-time measure, students who have passed XII Board Examination and eligible to enroll in the 1st year of B. Sc./B.S./B. Stat./B. Math./ Int. M.Sc./ Int. M.S. during the academic year 2021–22 are eligible to appear for the aptitude test.
