 ADMISSION 2015:NATIONAL COUNCIL FOR HOTEL MANAGEMENT AND CATERING TECHNOLOGY

Application Form Available Online 10 December 2014 to  06 April 2015
Last Date for receipt of filled-in form 06 April 2015 (Monday)
Availability of Admit Cards on NCHMCT website 18th April 2015 (Saturday) (1400 hours) onwards
Written Examination (JEE 2015) 25 April 2015 (Saturday)
Timings of JEE 2015 1000 Hrs to 1300 Hrs (3 hours)
Result of JEE on website 2nd Week of May, 2015
Conduct of Counselling 1st week of June, 2015
Commencement of Academic Session 20 July, 2015

Eligibility

A pass in 10+2 system of Senior Secondary examination or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects. Candidate must have passed English as a subject of study (core/elective/functional) in the qualifying examination.

Those appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination can also appear in JEE 2015 on provisional basis. Provisional admission will stand cancelled if proof of having passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or its equivalent) is not submitted at the time of counselling or at the time of admission or latest by 30-09-2015.

Age Limit as on 01 July 2015

For candidates from General and OBC categories, upper age limit is 22 years as on 01.07.2015. Candidates born on or after July 01, 1993 are eligible. In the case of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates, upper age limit is 25 years as on 01.07.2015. That is SC/ST candidates born on or after July 01, 1990 are eligible. Upper age limit for Physically Challenged candidates shall be reckoned as per the category he/she belongs to i.e. General/SC/ST/OBC. Date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board/Pre-University Certificate shall be the authentic proof that will be accepted. At the time of counselling, this certificate must be produced in original as a proof of age, failing which the candidate will not be considered for counselling/admission.

WARDHA MGIMS MBBS: 2015-16

The Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (MGIMS), Sevagram, Wardha, Maharashtra, has invited applications for a national-level entrance test to be held in Nagpur, Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Allahabad, Kolkata on April 19, 2015, for admission to the MBBS course for the academic year 2015-16. The prospectus and application form will be available from December 22, 2014, to March 7, 2015. The last date of receipt of filled-up application is March 20, 2015.

The fee structure at the MGIMS is as applicable to the Government Medical Colleges in Maharashtra. Visit www.mgims.ac.in for more details.

BITSAT-2015

The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani is an all India Institution declared as Deemed to be University under Section 3 of the UGC Act. Admissions to all the Integrated First Degree programmes of BITS, Pilani, at Pilani campus, Goa campus, and Hyderabad Campus for the academic year 2015-16 will be made on the basis of a Computer based Online Test conducted by BITS, Pilani. This test will be referred to as ‘BITS Admission Test – 2015’, in short as BITSAT-2015 hereafter in this document.

Candidates to reserve Test dates                                       : 1st Mar. – 21st March 2015

Candidates to download the Hall tickets with instructions:15th April – 30th April 2015

BITSAT Online tests                                                           : 14th May – 29th May 2015

Candidates to apply for admission with 12th class marks and

Preferences to Degree programmes                                  : 20th May – 30th June 2015

Admit List and Wait List announcement                               : 1st July 2015

 How to Apply:

Interested candidates should register their names for BITSAT-2015 by applying in the prescribed application form online.  Complete the application form online at http://www.bitsadmission.com and pay the prescribed fees. Also take the print out of the filled form for your future reference. The prescribed fee for BITSAT 2015 is Rs. 2090/-(Rs. 1590/- for female candidates).

If a candidate chooses  Dubai as a test center the application fee for both male and female candidates will be same and will be US $ 50 (or Indian Rs. 3100/- ).  Details for payment of fees are available at the website while applying online.
